What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant position at Professional Eye Care Centers?
We are looking for an energetic, fun, caring person to join our team as an optometric assistant. On the job training! No experience necessary.
Duties:
- Assist with patient care and eye exams
- Taking patients medical history
- Assist with contact lens fittings
- Answering phone calls
- Operate optical diagnostic equipment including lensometers and retinal cameras
- Clean and sterilize equipment as necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
