Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Optician role located in Niles, IL. The Optician will interact directly with patients to assist in eyewear selection, perform optical adjustments and fittings, and ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions from optometrists, preparing and maintaining optical equipment, and providing expertise on lenses, frames, and contact lenses. The role also requires ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of Optics and Optometry to interpret prescriptions and provide expert guidance on eyewear and lens options
- Experience with Customer Service and a strong focus on achieving Customer Satisfaction
- Familiarity with performing and understanding the process of Eye Exams is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure precision in adjustments and fittings
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members
- Experience in a healthcare or optical environment is beneficial
- Certification as a licensed Optician or relevant training is a plus
