Inside Sales Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Castle Rock, CO (On-site)

Pay: $24.00 – $32.00/hr
Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Engineer to support the sales process through technical expertise, quoting, and submittals. This role bridges sales, engineering, and customers to drive projects from bid through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate bid opportunities; review drawings, specs, and schedules
- Generate quotes and assist with product selection
- Prepare and manage submittal packages and approvals
- Read/redline drawings and coordinate changes with clients and manufacturers
- Track projects, tasks, and pipeline in CRM (NetSuite)
- Act as internal project lead; attend meetings and resolve issues
- Support aftermarket quotes, parts, and service teams as needed
- Communicate with engineers, contractors, and end users
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of commercial mechanical systems (boilers, pumps, combustion, etc.)
- Experience with bids, submittals, and technical documentation
- Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe/Bluebeam preferred
Preferred
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- AutoCAD/Revit or 3D CAD experience
- NetSuite or CRM experience
- Industrial/commercial HVAC or boiler background
