Senior CNC Machinist / Programmer
Denver, CO
Shift: 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6:45am-3:15pm (OT available BEFORE shift)
A growing Denver-area precision manufacturing operation is hiring Senior CNC Machinist Programmers for multiple openings on 1st shift. We are looking for experienced machinists who can take ownership of CNC setup, programming, operation, and production of tight-tolerance parts.
We are currently hiring for two specialties:
Lathe Machinist / Programmer – Live Tooling
- Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes with live tooling.
- Develop and edit CNC programs for production machining.
- Select tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and cutting strategies.
- Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary program/tool offsets.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle times.
⚙️ Horizontal Mill Machinist / Programmer – 3 & 4 Axis
- Set up, program, and operate 3- and 4-axis horizontal machining centers.
- Develop and modify CNC programs for complex precision components.
- Select appropriate tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Optimize programs and processes for quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong CNC setup and programming experience.
- Experience with either:
- Live-tooling CNC lathes, or
- 3- and 4-axis horizontal mills
- Mastercam 2024 or newer experience required
- Ability to program, set up, prove out, and run CNC equipment.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot machining and programming problems.
Salary : $27 - $35
