About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join a high-precision machining team supporting advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing. This position offers hands-on ownership of each project — from programming and setup through final inspection — in a fast-paced, prototype-driven environment.

Schedule
Monday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
(Four 10-hour shifts with a shift differential)
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills (3- and 5-axis) and lathes to produce precision components.
- Take ownership of parts from CAD model and print through inspection.
- Interpret complex aerospace blueprints with GD&T.
- Create custom fixturing and maintain tight tolerances between .0002” and .002”.
- Perform self-inspection using precision measurement tools (micrometers, indicators, CMM, comparator).
- Adhere to AS9100 / ISO9001 quality standards and all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of CNC machining and programming experience.
- Proficiency in Mastercam (2026 or newer).
- Strong 3-axis milling background; 5-axis experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Siemens or Fanuc controllers.
- Experience machining aerospace-grade materials (aluminum, stainless, Inconel, titanium).
- Proven ability to produce conforming parts from model and print through final inspection.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform self-directed quality checks.
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace prototype machining.
- DMG Mori and Okuma machine operation.
- EDM experience and lathe operation.
- Plate work and flatness control.
- Background in AS9100 or ISO-certified environments.
