Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Driving Instructor ( licensed instructor a major plus ) to join one of the most prestigious driving school in NYC . In this role, you will be responsible for educating students on safe driving practices, ensuring they develop the skills necessary to become confident and responsible drivers . You will engage with students behind the wheel, providing them with the knowledge and experience needed to pass their driving tests.
Duties
- Provide hands-on driving instruction in various conditions to enhance students' practical skills.
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with students regarding progress, challenges, and next steps in their driving education.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students.
- A valid driver's NY license ( minimum 2 years) with a clean / acceptable driving record is required ; Out of state license abstract of driving required required
- GED or high school diploma
- Patience is a virtue ; a passion for educating others and helping them achieve their goals in becoming safe drivers.
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
