Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients
- Handle manual lifting of heavy cleaning supplies or furniture with proper technique to ensure safety
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by applying appropriate cleaning detergents and disinfectants in accordance with protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and equipment operation
- Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
- Skilled in dusting, surface sanitation, floor maintenance, and carpet care techniques
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and their appropriate applications for different surfaces
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during deep cleans or furniture movement
