What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Professional Care Physical Therapy?
We are looking for a motivated, energetic, hard-working individual to serve as our medical receptionist for an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice. Applicants must be charismatic, friendly, detail oriented, and enjoy patient interaction.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma required.
Minimum Experience: Medical experience is not necessary but experience in customer relations is strongly suggested. Will train the right individual. Must be proficient in computer use.
Expected Hours: M/W 7:30-3:30p; T/Th 1-8p, F 8-5p
Job Duties:
- Create a customer friendly experience at the front desk
- Maintaining the schedule, booking appointments using the Prompt scheduler
- Answering and making phone calls
- Provide quick and accommodating resolutions to patient issues
- Collect deductibles and copays
- Gathering reports for weekly meetings
- Scanning, Filing
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
