Job Overview
Professional Benefit Services is looking for a COBRA / Cafeteria Plan Administrator to join our team.
We will train the right person. Prior COBRA or cafeteria plan experience is helpful, but it is not required. What matters most is accuracy, organization, willingness to learn, and the ability to handle detailed work carefully.
This role works with COBRA administration and cafeteria plan administration, including FSA, HRA, HSA, and related employee benefit plans.
What you’ll do
You’ll help administer COBRA and cafeteria benefit plans for employers and participants. This includes entering and reviewing participant information, tracking payments, communicating with clients and participants, reviewing work for accuracy, and helping make sure plan administration is handled correctly and on time.
A large part of the job is detail work. We need someone who can proof their own data entry, catch small errors before they become problems, and stay organized while handling multiple tasks throughout the day.
Helpful background, but not required
Experience in any of the following areas would be useful, but we are willing to train:
Medical, dental, or vision insurance
COBRA administration
FSA, HRA, HSA, or cafeteria plan administration
Employee benefits administration
Basic accounting, payment tracking, or reconciliation
Payroll or HR administration
High-volume data entry
Customer service in a benefits, insurance, HR, payroll, or financial setting

Comfort working with payments, dates, deadlines, and participant records

Ability to learn technical benefit rules and follow procedures

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
