- Provide specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and scalp treatments to enhance client satisfaction.
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, retail sales tracking, and retail math calculations.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Engage with clients through personalized consultations to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or retail products.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to boost revenue while educating clients on their benefits.
- Mentor junior stylists and apprentices by sharing techniques, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, processing payments, and handling client communication professionally.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license recognized by local licensing authorities.
- Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, cutting, and finishing techniques.
- Strong knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
- Expertise in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and scalp treatments is highly desirable.
- Skilled in sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform precise work using tools like straight razors while maintaining safety protocols.
- Experience in store management or leadership roles is a plus for mentoring team members effectively.
