Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. Your primary responsibility will be to assist them with daily activities and ensure their well-being.

Duties:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs

- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Engage individuals in recreational activities and social interactions

- Support individuals in developing independent living skills

- Implement behavior management strategies as directed

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of hospice care, home care, or senior care is a plus

- Ability to drive and transport individuals to appointments or activities

- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals, families, and team members

- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for individuals' needs

- Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to respond to emergencies
