Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Landing Gear Engineer specializing in mechanical and structural design, located in Titusville, FL. Responsibilities include overseeing the design and development of landing gear systems, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, performing engineering calculations, and conducting structural analysis. Collaboration with project teams to execute research and development (R&D) initiatives and ensure the successful completion of engineering projects is key. The role also requires creating detailed technical documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design principles
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Experience in Project Management and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams
- Skills in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative engineering solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in aviation, aerospace, or a related industry is highly beneficial
- Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations and standards is a plus
