Position Overview
ProFamily is seeking a fully licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our growing clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, relationship-centered care to children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating complex emotional, behavioral, and systemic challenges.
The ideal candidate is grounded, collaborative, trauma-informed, and able to balance compassionate care with strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and professional boundaries. Clinicians who are comfortable working within multidisciplinary and systems-based environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
Clinicians are encouraged to bring their own clinical strengths, theoretical orientation, and areas of specialty into their work.
Flexible 1099 independent contractor position with part-time and full-time caseload opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or child-focused therapy services using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches
- Complete comprehensive intake assessments, diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant records in accordance with agency, Medicaid, and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical staff, DFCS, schools, legal systems, medical providers, and community partners as appropriate
- Support children and families navigating trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, adjustment difficulties, and other mental health needs
- Participate in case consultation, supervision, and clinical staffing as needed
- Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with state licensing requirements and agency expectations
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative clinical environment focused on high-quality care and long-term client wellbeing
Qualifications
- Active Georgia license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred
- Comfortable working with high-acuity or systems-involved populations
- Proficient with EHR systems and general computer use
Preferred
- Experience working within or alongside the child welfare system
- Familiarity with court-involved families or high-conflict family systems
- Experience providing trauma-informed care
- Familiarity with Medicaid and third-party reimbursement processes
