Qualifications
Education:
Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH
American Heart Association BLS
Advanced-Level Certification from ARRT to include one of the following: -ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology. -ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology. -ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology. Preferred

An interventional radiology technologist will assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Guaranteed hours (e.g., 36–40 hours per week, if applicable)
- Shift expectations (floating between shifts, weekend/holiday expectations if any)
- Floating requirements (to satellites, outpatient centers, etc.)
- Scrub color
- Parking info (free employee parking, specific lot, etc.)
- Orientation details (length, paid, department-specific)
- Equipment used (Hologic, GE, Siemens, etc.)
- Patient volume (approx. exams/day)
- Call requirements (if none, that’s helpful to state too)
- EMR/PACS systems used (Epic, Cerner, Sectra, McKesson, etc.)
- COVID/Flu vaccine requirements
- Background/drug screening expectations
- Extensions (possible/not likely)
