What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Data Engineer position at Prodware Solutions?
We have a 6 Months Contract position for a Sr Data Engineer with a client based in Des Moines, IA.
This would be Hybrid opportunity - 3 days onsite.

How long is this contract expected to last? Is there a possibility of extension beyond this date? 6 months is likely with possibility to extend based on performance and budget.
Is this role needing someone to sit on-site, or work remote? Hybrid, 3 days minimum in the office
Please describe the project work, and what do day-to-day responsibilities look like: This contractor would fill a spot on one of our product teams. Our engineers work on product cross-functional teams doing prioritized work in an agile environment. We work to get data positioned and curated to drive business insights.
What technologies or systems will this contingent worker be utilizing? Python, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, GitHub, may have some legacy needs with Informatica but that is not a core technology we leverage
What does the interview process look like for this opening? Would like 60 minutes and would consist of a small panel for interviews with 2-3 people and will have a short coding exercise to validate their coding approach for solving. We use an online system for this called codewars and we would like them to create a free profile before the interview. https://www.codewars.com/dashboard. As we're evolving our interviewing model, we may have a second round with the team as well.
