What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Sewer position at Products Unlimited Inc?
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6 am to 4 pm
Eligible for Piece Rate Pay
DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED
This sewing position involves sewing filtration material around metal bars to create Paint Pocket filters.
Primary Responsibilities: Required to perform all tasks pertaining to all facets of set- up and operation of industrial sewing machines, including the following:
- Sew filter material using Industrial Sewing Machines
- Sew to production sample, follow product guides, and observe stitching to detect defects.
- Inspect finished product for quality control.
- Make minor machine adjustments and perform routine machine maintenance.
- Box finished product and load product boxes on pallets.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Prior industrial sewing experience
- Ability to life up to 25 pounds
- Ability to read, write and understand English
Job Type: Full-time
