CNC Maintenance Technician – Swiss Machines
Are you an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician looking to put your expertise to work on high-precision Swiss-style lathes? Join Productivity, Inc — a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968.
We’re looking for a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician with deep knowledge of Swiss-style CNC machines to support customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines or precision CNC lathes
- Machine installations and setup
- Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
What You Bring
- 3 or more years maintaining and repairing Swiss-style CNC machines or precision CNC lathes
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls.
- Strong understanding of spindle rebuilds, ball screw alignments, and servo systems.
- Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel locally to customer sites, with 4-6 overnights per month
Compensation and Benefits
- $33 - $40/hour depending on expertise and experience, plus incentives, annual performance & salary reviews
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime
