Fargo, ND– Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Fargo, ND. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform instrumented tests using existing procedures to verify that system performance meets product specifications. Support assigned product groups in product validation and verification process as associated with production requirements. Provide problem identification and resolution, corrective action and tracking and reliability analysis. Provide input on test procedures to engineers and support personnel as required.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Respond promptly to requests and trouble calls from the production floor.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs issues with machines and mechanical equipment.
• Provide support with soldering tasks and related processes.
• Perform failure analysis and document findings.
• Operate diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
• Work with small robotics, conveyors, automated soldering stations, and material dispensary equipment.
• Track work performed using basic computer applications.
• Maintain a high level of safety and use required PPE (metatarsal shoes) at all times.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with soldering (support and intermediate level).
• Ability to use multimeters and perform failure analysis.
• Experience with small robotics, conveyance equipment, and automated machinery.
• Basic proficiency with computers.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent technician experience.
