Primary Duties for Assistant Program Manager Trainee:
- 2nd shift opening
- Member of the Crisis Management Team with periodic oncall responsibilities
- Assist the Program Manager in ensuring that assigned facility/facilities meet or exceed all regulatory requirements as well as PLS standards, practices, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of client home visits, visitors and passes
- Monitors quality of client care and followsup promptly and appropriately regarding any client complaints per PLS policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist the Program Manager in training, scheduling, and supervising facility staff.
- Supervise staff according to commonly accepted supervisor practices and in compliance with PLS policies and procedures, federal, state, and local laws and Department of Health and Family Services regulatory requirements
- Provides an overall safe environment for the client, self, and other staff, and takes the appropriate steps to prevent risk
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a high school diploma or GED/HSED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- 1 year minimum workrelated experience in a human services related field (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekend shifts, holidays, and required periodic crisis rotations
- FullTime 2nd shift
- Successful completion of preemployment physical, TB test, caregiver background check, and applicable training
Benefits:
- 1st Shift: $500 signon bonus
- 2nd Shift: $0.50/hour shift differential $750 signon bonus
- 3rd Shift: $2.00/hour shift differential $1,000 signon bonus
