Productive Alternatives, Inc is a non-profit business that assists individuals with barriers find employment. We help these individuals find meaningful employment and provide individualized supports for job success and retention. The goal is to wean out supports for those we serve to create job independence.
A Job Coach supervises and assists individuals with disabilities in their competitive work setting. Job Coaches ensure that each individual understands their job role, teaches new job skills and role models appropriate at-work behavior. Job Coaches teach the individuals how to work efficiently and effectively at their job. Frequent communication occurs between the Job Coach and the employer to ensure all parties are satisfied with the work that is being performed. Job Coaches assist the individuals in maintaining their employment, but can also advocate for promotions, etc.
Job Coaches need to problem solve independently and assist in finding solutions to better serve the individuals we serve. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written are required. Daily documentation is required. Need to be a people person and have the desire to improve the quality of life of those we serve by providing positive supports in a meaningful work environment.
Productive Alternatives is hiring for the following work shifts:
1- Wednesdays and Fridays 7am-12pm; Saturdays 6:10am-12:40pm
2- Fridays 4:20pm-10:40pm and Saturdays 12:10pm-10:40pm
3- Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays: 2:45pm-9:10pm (includes drive time to Hawley and back)
4- Saturdays and Sundays: 2:45pm-9:10pm (included drive time to Hawley and back)
5- Weekend Job Coaches: looking for coaches available to assist with weekend work. Hours vary. If interested, please reach out. Note, wage is $25.00/hour on weekends!

Please note that we are always adding new shifts once a client obtains a job, which creates new opportunities for coaching hours.

It is highly necessary that the applicant is reliable and can commit to their hours of availability in order for Productive Alternatives to support our clients in their employment setting.
Please note that staff are required to be on the job site with our clients at all times.
High school graduate or GED required. Must pass a background check and MVR check. Driver's License is required with a clean MVR check.
