What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Piping Drafter position at Production Tracking Design?
We are looking for a Mechanical Piping Draftsman to join our team in Kernersville, NC.
This is a full-time, in-person position working directly with our project and fabrication teams to turn customer isometric and orthographic drawings into detailed, fabrication-ready shop drawings.
We’re looking for someone with:
• 2 years of drafting experience
• Proficiency with CAD software — AutoCAD preferred
• Experience with industrial piping, pipe fittings, flanges, valves, and pipe schedules preferred
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and calculate dimensions/material requirements
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• 3D modeling experience is a plus
