We are seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters to join a growing pipe fabrication team in a shop environment. This position focuses on assembling and preparing pipe spools for welding in a clean, organized fabrication facility. All work is performed in the shop — no field installation or travel required.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, fit, and tack pipe spools according to shop and isometric drawings
- Square, align, and fit pipe and fittings prior to welding
- Perform TIG tack welds to secure assemblies for welders
- Measure, level, and align piping components to maintain dimensional accuracy
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move pipe and materials safely
- Use fabrication tools including grinders, measuring tools, levels, and layout equipment
- Verify materials and components match project drawings and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following shop safety procedures
Qualifications
- Experience fitting industrial process piping or pipe spools
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and piping isometrics
- Experience with TIG tack welding
- Familiarity with pipe fabrication shop tools and equipment
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in pipe fabrication shops
- Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy piping
- Experience assembling ASME code piping systems
