Responsibilities
- Assist with order picking and packing using barcode scanning and RF scanners to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders
- Unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards and manual handling procedures
- Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), maintaining accurate stock levels and conducting regular stock checks
- Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring proper packaging
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with warehouse operations such as order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, and inventory management systems
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items consistently
- Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying inventory accuracy
- Knowledge of barcode scanning for logistics purposes and quality control procedures
- Understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse distribution environments
- Excellent attention to detail for inventory management, order fulfillment, and stock accuracy
