Job Description: Reality Capture Project Manager

Location: Hybrid – In PMC’s Dearborn Michigan office 1-2 days per week

Compensation: 95k-105k -Salary Overtime-Exempt

Role Description: The Reality Capture Project Manager is an essential part of PMC’s Digital Reality Division. You will be responsible for multiple reality capture field teams that use 3D laser Scanners, drones, and survey equipment to capture existing conditions on a wide variety of client sites across several industries. This role touches on several stages in the project delivery process for PMC.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years existing project management experience
• 1-2 years project coordination experience
• 4-5 years reality capture experience (preferably with terrestrial/mobile laser scanning and survey projects)
• Provable experience with project management software
• Prefer a bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, technology, surveying, geomatics, or a related technical field.
• Prefer a PMP – Project Management Professional credential

Responsibilities:

• You’ll work daily with PMC estimators to ensure the validity and accuracy of outgoing proposals.
• You will write work packs and execution plans for the field teams to follow on projects.
• You will ensure the field teams have the required safety training or documentation needed for site access and conduct pre-job kickoff meetings for these projects.
• You will coordinate logistic arrangements for field crews doing site visits and write project schedules. This includes travel arrangements, site access coordination, equipment shipping or transportation
• You will handle client messaging around site visit scheduling, and project delivery, targeting a response time of 24 hours.
• You will fill out weekly progress and P&L reports for your projects to ensure the admin teams have visibility into daily operations.
• You will work with the Data Processing Manager to ensure the reality capture data processing is completed to a satisfactory quality level, delivery requirements are met, and the delivery time is acceptable to the clients.
• You will send and track Change Order Requests to clients as needed.
• If you have crews scheduled on the weekends, you will need to be available to take any of their calls and questions on the weekend.
• You may occasionally have to order or ship equipment to/from the PMC Dearborn office.
• This is typically a desk job so sitting for prolonged periods of time in an office environment is expected. Additionally you may occasionally have to stand/walk/move and lift up to 50 lbs when handling equipment.
• A valid drivers license and drivers abstract is required for this role.

Reporting structure:

• You will directly manage the PMC Reality capture field teams.
• You will directly manage an estimator
• You will work closely with your colleagues: Data Processing Manager & CAD Project Manager. These individuals will handle the reality capture data processing, and any CAD or BIM deliverables for the project requirements, allowing you to focus primarily on the field teams.
• You will report to the Digital Reality Director
