Pipe Fabrication Foreman (NIGHTS)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fabrication Foreman to lead and supervise a crew of 5–10 pipe welders and fitters in a fabrication/shop environment. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for daily crew coordination, productivity, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a crew of 5–10 welders, fitters, and combo welders.
- Assign daily work, coordinate manpower and materials, and maintain production schedules.
- Perform and oversee pipe fit-up and welding using TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and/or FCAW processes.
- Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and perform accurate layout, fit-up, alignment, and assembly.
- Ensure work meets project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and NDT requirements.
- Monitor crew workmanship and correct quality or production issues as needed.
- Promote and enforce company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- Communicate production needs, issues, and progress with management and other departments.
- Train, coach, and hold crew members accountable for safety, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of pipe welding, pipe fitting, or combo welding/fitting experience.
- Previous crew leadership or Foreman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial piping systems and multiple alloys.
- Ability to independently fit pipe and perform code-compliant welds.
- Proficient in reading isometric drawings and performing precise fit-up.
- Must be capable of passing a weld test.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
- Must pass a drug test.

- Location: Breaux Bridge, LA 70517
- Schedule: Must be available to work nights.
- Work Environment: On-site, in-person fabrication/shop environment.
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position.
Primary Goal: Lead a 5–10 person crew while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and on-time completion.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
