What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator position at Production Automation Corporation?
PAC is a national/international distributor of technical solutions to businesses customers, including electronics and medical device manufacturers, aerospace and defense, pharmaceutical processing, and healthcare. Our customers include Apple, Medtronic, NASA, Samsung, SpaceX, and more.
We are seeking a motivated individual to handle a variety of shipping, receiving and customer service support functions in our Grapevine TX facility.
Responsibilities will include inventory control, invoicing receipt of goods into our system, picking and packing, receiving of smaller packages and products, as well as maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and performing cycle counts on our inventory. Additional tasks around Sales Order and Purchase Order entry could occur.
Skills required to be considered for this position:
- 3 years in this field of work
- Proven, documented knowledge of UPS Worldship & FedEx Ship Manager Software -- (Required, applicants without experience will not be considered)
- Purchase Order/Order Entry, Invoicing & Order Acknowledgements
- Preparing Shipping Documents, including customer required docs like SDS’s and C of C’s.
- Receiving items against purchase orders, and verifying all PO requirements are met upon receipt.
- Knowledge/experience of receiving containerized product
- Has past experience of bin location set up & cycle counting
- Processing Incoming/Outgoing Packing Lists
- Entering Transactions
- Performing Quality Inspections
- Other tasks as assigned
Must be comfortable using a computer, and must also possess good time-management skills, be able to complete tasks accurately and timely, and have a positive team attitude.
- HAZ-MAT certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.
- Forklift certification must be completed within first 30 days of hire, and previous experience with a forklift is required.
- This position will be approximately 50% warehousing and 50% clerical.
- SAP Business One software knowledge a Plus.
