Reporting to the Regional Director, the General Manager operates the C&W Meter Service business and is responsible for actively driving growth and profitability of it’s 4 locations across the U.S. The GM collaborates with the operations team and other leaders to set priorities, plan for growth, and make sure the right people and resources are in place. This role includes both strategic leadership and engagement with customers, and it requires a hands-on leader who can influence and lead multiple teams, cultivating a culture of safety, ownership, and high-quality work.

Responsibilities
- Own the company’s P&L including building guide the annual budget, tracking results, managing overhead, and handle collections when needed.
- Lead day-to-day operations to hit financial targets and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Use strong financial judgment to turn plans into action, balancing near-term results with long-term value.
- Develop, implement, and improve the sales process to help the team win and retain customers.
- Help negotiate and manage master service agreements with key customers.
- Manage capital projects from early planning through startup and handoff.
- Work with the operations team to keep overhead spending under control.
- Provide leadership and the development of department staff through setting goals and objectives; identifying and arranging appropriate training and career development opportunities for employees at all levels; encouraging teamwork and sharing of best practices; fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence; and planning the succession of employees with the skills to meet future company and customer needs.

- Lead improvements that support growth and seamless operations

- Lead safety efforts and make sure work follows company policies, customer requirements, and all applicable laws—on site and off site.
- Partner with corporate support functions including Finance and Accounting, HR, IT, Safety and Legal.
- Build strong working relationships across the team, the company, and the industry, and stay current on the skills needed to do the job well.
