Prodigy Preschool is looking for a fun, reliable, and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our team immediately! If you love working with children and want to be part of a positive, supportive environment, we would love to meet you.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Teacher, you will help create a safe, engaging, and structured classroom where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll support the Lead Teacher with daily routines, activities, and classroom management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily classroom activities and routines
- Support children’s learning through play and structured activities
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Supervise children and ensure safety at all times
- Assist with diapering, meals, and transitions
- Work as part of a team with teachers and leadership
What We’re Looking For:
- Energetic, positive, and dependable
- Passion for working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay engaged and attentive throughout the day
- Experience in childcare is a plus (but not required!)
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to meet physical demands (standing, lifting, etc.)
- Must enjoy working with children
Schedule:
- Typically Monday–Friday
- Between 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (varies slightly)
