What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mover/Packer position at Prodigy Movers?
- Moving experience is a perk but no required
- MUST have valid driver licenses & “own” a vehicle
- MUST be available to work on weekends
- Good attitude/work ethic
- Hours depend on skill & availability (we do not guarantee hours)
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport furniture and other items from one location to another
- (Drivers only) Drive company vehicles, including box trucks, passenger truck to transport goods
- Communicate with customers to ensure a smooth moving process and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and helpful throughout the moving process
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage to property
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required to move furniture and other items
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience as a delivery driver or mover is a plus
- Ability to safely operate moving equipment and tools
- Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
