Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer to support and enhance enterprise-scale applications including Master Person Index (MPI), Michigan Index Data Stewardship Portal (MIDSP), and Symmetry. This role ensures data integrity, compliance, and secure operations while driving automation and integration across critical business systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support IBM Infosphere MDM v11x implementations
- Develop and troubleshoot Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP services
- Manage Kafka topics, producers/consumers, and integrate with WildFly applications
- Write and optimize SQL queries (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Automate processes with Linux/Unix shell scripting, CRON jobs, and PowerShell
- Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and deployments in cloud/OCP environments
- Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution
- Monitor applications, provide production support, and ensure SDLC compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- 8 years of software development experience with enterprise systems
- Strong IBM Infosphere MDM v11x expertise
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Linux/Unix, Kafka, SQL, and scripting
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), OpenShift/Kubernetes, and ELK Stack
- Ability to independently manage and support complex systems
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
