What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Marketing Manager position at Procurement Partners?
Description
About Us
Procurement Partners builds easy-to-use software that lets healthcare organizations automate their purchasing, inventory management, invoicing, and payments processes. We help thousands of facilities and their staff reduce their expenses and time spent procuring items so they can direct more time and effort toward caring for their patients and residents. Procurement Partners now includes both OnCare & Hybrent product lines, and we are the fastest-growing procure-to-pay software company in healthcare. If you have a passion for technology, enjoy providing value to customers, and are looking for a company that will help you develop your career, we want to talk to you!
About The Role
We are looking for a strategic, technically minded Product Marketing Manager who can bring complex product innovation to life for customers, prospects, and internal teams. This role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Corporate Marketing, translating what we build into clear market narratives, practical enablement, and value-driven communications.
You will own the story behind our product ecosystem. That means taking backend technical updates, new feature releases, product roadmap themes, and competitive insights and turning them into messaging, launch plans, product data sheets, sales tools, release notes, and adoption programs that help people understand why the work matters.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys technical B2B SaaS products, understands the complexity of healthcare supply chains, and can translate Source-to-Pay workflows into customer value and commercial impact.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, let us know!
What You’ll Do
What You'll Bring
Product innovation only creates value when people understand it, trust it, and know how to use it. As Product Marketing Manager, you will help connect the dots between technical product work and customer impact. Your work will make launches clearer, sales conversations stronger, release communications more meaningful, and adoption efforts more focused.

We value diversity at Procurement Partners. The company will hire, recruit, and promote without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, pregnancy or maternity, veteran status or any other status protected by applicable law. We understand the importance of creating a safe and comfortable work environment and encourage individualism and authenticity in every member of our team.

What You’ll Do
- Strategic Messaging & Technical Translation
- Value Proposition Creation: Translate complex product technical specifications and backend feature updates into clear, high-impact business outcomes and commercial value propositions.
- Core Assets & Data Sheets: Author and coordinate the design of external, customer-facing technical Product Data Sheets that clearly articulate product capabilities, compliance, and architectural value.
- Marketing Alignment: Provide the foundational product launch messaging, positioning frameworks, and value levers to be consumed and scaled by the corporate marketing team for external campaigns.
- Sales Enablement & Competitive Intelligence
- Competitive Battlecards: Research, build, and continuously update tactical competitive battlecards and playbooks that equip the Sales organization to effectively displace key S2P competitors.
- Sales & Commercial Training: Partner closely with Product Management to design, build, and deliver continuous training programs for Sales, Account Management, and Business Development teams on new features, modules, and market positioning.
- Product Launch, Release Management & GTM
- Cross-Functional GTM Readiness: Lead the cross-functional Go-To-Market (GTM) launch readiness process, driving alignment and accountability across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams ahead of every release.
- Value-Driven Release Notes: Own the authoring of customer-facing release notes, transforming them from dry, technical engineering logs into engaging communications that highlight continuous customer value.
- Product Adoption, Analytics & Internal Visibility
- Post-Launch Adoption Tracking: Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze post-launch usage data, identifying adoption friction points and executing targeted enablement or marketing campaigns to drive lagging feature usage.
- Product Analytics: Comfortably navigate product analytics platforms (specifically Pendo) to monitor user behavior, track feature adoption metrics, and inform GTM strategies.
- Internal Product Hub Management: Act as the single owner for updating and maintaining the Product Management internal wiki/intranet site, ensuring company-wide visibility into product roadmaps, release schedules, and enablement collateral.
What You'll Bring
- Domain Expertise: Preferred proven product marketing experience within Source-to-Pay (S2P), procurement, or spend management software domains.
- Industry Knowledge: Preferred strong familiarity with the Healthcare vertical, understanding its unique operational challenges, compliance landscapes, and purchasing complexities.
- SaaS Background: 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, with a clear track record of launching technical products and features.
- Technical Aptitude: Exceptional ability to comprehend highly complex backend technical concepts and architectures, with a natural talent for translating them into clear, jargon-free business value for non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Skills: Hands-on experience navigating product adoption and analytics tools, with specific proficiency in Pendo (or closely equivalent platforms like Gainsight, Mixpanel, or Amplitude).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated success leading cross-functional readiness initiatives, controlling project timelines, and managing stakeholders across Engineering, Support, Sales, and Executive leadership.
- Content Excellence: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio that includes structured data sheets, enablement decks, or value-focused release communications.
