Job Description:
We are seeking career minded individuals to join our Inside Sales and Estimating Group. This group is responsible for the take-off and quotation of our products on projects bidding throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Ideal candidate would have prior experience in boilers, pumps, hydronic systems and other related HVAC equipment. You will interact with our manufacturers and customers via phone and email daily. The job entails interpreting specifications, plans, and other requests. Make equipment selections and preparation of proposals. Qualifications include someone who is mechanically inclined, intelligent, motivated, filled with common sense and the ability to make good decisions. We are seeking individuals with a great attitude and a positive work ethic. Those with HVAC industry trade experience are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate would have a mechanical engineering degree with industry experience with boilers, pumps and hydronic heating systems and related processes. However, if you possess a mechanical aptitude and "technical" common sense you should be able to quickly pick things up. You will be working directly with our customers handling application questions, preparing quotes, equipment take-off from plans, equipment/parts sales, etc. Candidate must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- 2 years relevant experience in commercial HVAC sales (preferred but not required for the right individual)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong phone and email presence
- Experience working with Sage or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Working knowledge of plumbing and hydronic equipment (1-3 years) and applications or ability to learn
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
