Community Education: Early Childhood Family Education Teacher
2026-2027 School Year (start date through June 4, 2027)
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Community Education, the Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Teacher is responsible for positively interacting with, building strong relationships with, and educating diverse children, ages 0-8, and their families. Create and implement daily activity programming to support lifelong learning and enhance the whole child's social-emotional, educational, recreational, health, and well-being, as defined by the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress. The ECFE teacher is responsible for planning, instruction, and evaluation of children ages 0-5 and their families enrolled in the program.

Minimum Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with strong communication, organizational, and teaching skills appropriate for families with young children.
Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Family Education, or PreK.
Compensation: The salary for the full-time ECFE teaching position is $48,557-$51,196, based on experience (181 days/7.5 hours per day). Please note that salary will be prorated based on the candidate's start date because the school year is already in progress.
