Forklift Operator/Picker
Summary of Position
The Forklift Operator/Picker is responsible for pulling product components to satisfy client orders. They will do so by managing pick ticket orders by physically pulling product components, placing them on a pallet, and delivering them to their designated drop-off location (Assembly/Shipping).
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Manage pick ticket orders from start to finish while being timely and accurate.
- Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
- Ensure that orders are picked without damage.
- Stage items correctly for production, if required.
- Operate equipment safely.
- Assist with stock replenishment.
- Help maintain the cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
- Performs other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
- Safety conscious.
- Knowledge of OSHA/Forklift Certification. (ProCraft will train all employees who are willing to learn!)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
