Manager, Information Systems Engineering

We're looking for a Manager, Information Systems Engineering to lead our Network and Cloud Infrastructure team and drive our IT automation initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of our global connectivity and cloud environments. • Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth through regular feedback and coaching.

• Manage the deployment and upkeep of our cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-premises network hardware, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.

• Implement IT automation workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python to streamline provisioning and configuration management.

• Maintain network security standards, including the management of firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN configurations to protect corporate data.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Security and DevOps to align infrastructure support with broader business objectives.

• Oversee incident response for network and cloud-related issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent future disruptions.

• Manage project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring that infrastructure upgrades and migrations are completed on schedule.

• Monitor system performance and costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency within our cloud spend.

• 5 years in a leadership role, with experience managing network and/or cloud engineering teams.

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex IT initiatives and deliver against operational goals.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, BGP/OSPF) and cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, load balancers).

• Experience managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on stability, security, and scalability.

• Proven ability to execute technical roadmaps, project plans, and infrastructure initiatives end to end.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, New Relic) to maintain system health and visibility.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead teams through complex technical challenges in fast-paced environments.

• Clear and effective communicator, able to provide status updates to leadership and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Base Pay Range:
