We’re hiring an experienced Legal Secretary to support our busy Business Litigation and Civil Litigation teams in downtown San Diego. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and bring precision, responsiveness, and a proactive mindset to your work, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys who handle complex business and civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of experience in high-volume civil litigation and are confident handling:
Drafting, formatting, and proofreading pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
E-filing in both state and federal courts, without the use of a full-service e-filing service provider
Maintaining attorney calendars and tracking litigation deadlines
Communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Supporting attorneys with a variety of work styles and preferences
Assisting with logistics and materials for mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials
To be considered, candidates must have experience supporting attorneys in business and civil litigation.
