Human Resources Mgr

We’re hiring a Human Resources Manager to join our Human Resources team in Downtown San Diego.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in supporting the firm’s people operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across all offices. Working closely with the Director of Human Resources and Talent Management, you’ll serve as a trusted resource to employees and managers, helping maintain a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

In this role, you’ll handle:

1. Administering HR policies, processes, and programs to ensure consistency and compliance across the firm
2. Providing guidance to employees and managers on HR matters, employee relations, and performance management
3. Maintaining HR records, ensuring HRIS data integrity, and preparing HR reports and metrics
4. Supporting annual reviews, compensation processes, and compliance initiatives
5. Assisting with leave management, benefits administration, and onboarding processes
6. Partnering with the Recruiting and Learning & Development teams to coordinate orientations and professional development programs
7. Contributing to HR process improvement projects, system enhancements, and policy updates

What We’re Looking For

1. 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
2. Strong understanding of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
3. Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
4. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with HRIS systems (ADP or similar preferred)
7. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
