Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques and tools necessary for high-quality vehicle repairs. This role is for a B Tech; candidate will assist and participate in all phases of the repair as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs, including, panel replacement, and panel repair.
- Conduct vehicle assessments to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with shop management regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in an auto body shop or dealership setting.
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques, including assembly, disassembly and heavy lifting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus.
