What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative - Healthcare position at Proco LLC?
Outside Sales Representative - Healthcare
Location: Macon Area
Company: AICA Orthopedics
Position Impact
Urgent care centers see auto accident patients every day — and they don't treat them. They stabilize and refer. AICA Orthopedics exists to be where those patients go next.
As a Territory Development Manager, your job is to make sure every urgent care clinic in your territory knows exactly who AICA is, what we do, and how to get their patients to us. That means showing up consistently, building real relationships with front desk staff, medical assistants, and providers, and working your way up to the clinic owners and regional administrators who control referral culture at scale.
This is a high-activity, relationship-first field role. If you thrive on being out of the office, meeting new people, and building something tangible in your community — this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
Daily Territory Presence:
- Make regular, in-person visits to urgent care centers across your assigned territory — this is a show-up-and-be-seen role
- Build genuine relationships with front desk staff, medical assistants, clinic managers, and providers — the people who actually make referral decisions day to day
- Arrive prepared with branded materials and a consistent reason to be memorable — you will be equipped with the tools and resources to make every visit count
- Work a defined territory of high-volume urgent care locations — enough to build real depth, focused enough to build real relationships
- Combat natural staff turnover by staying consistently visible — new faces at the front desk are an opportunity, not an obstacle
- Educate clinic staff on AICA's capabilities and why we are the right next step for auto accident and injury patients
Strategic Account Development:
- Move beyond the front desk — build relationships with clinic owners, regional medical directors, and multi-site administrators to drive referral culture from the top down
- Identify and prioritize high-volume urgent care locations within your territory for deeper engagement
- Conduct periodic account reviews with key decision-makers to strengthen the partnership and identify growth opportunities
- Provide market intelligence back to leadership on competitive activity, territory trends, and partnership opportunities
Patient Experience & Follow-Through:
- Ensure patients referred from urgent care partners receive a seamless handoff and positive first experience at AICA
- Serve as a point of contact for clinic partners when questions or service issues arise
- Track partnership engagement and activity metrics using CRM tools
What Success Looks Like
- Your territory knows AICA — clinic staff recognize your name and know who to call
- Active partnerships are deepening, with consistent and growing engagement from key accounts
- Dormant or cold clinic relationships are being systematically reactivated
- You have established relationships at the ownership and regional admin level in at least your top-tier accounts
- Patient handoffs from urgent care partners are smooth, well-communicated, and positively received
- Territory activity metrics and partnership engagement scores consistently meet or exceed targets
Who You Are
This role is not a fit for everyone. The right candidate:
- Genuinely enjoys being out in the field — a desk is not where you do your best work
- Is energized by meeting new people and building relationships from scratch
- Doesn't get discouraged by staff turnover or slow-building partnerships — you play the long game
- Brings professionalism and polish to every interaction, from a front desk receptionist to a regional VP
- Is self-directed and accountable — you manage your own calendar, your own territory, and your own results
- Has a track record of showing up consistently and following through
Qualifications
Required:

- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
- Reliable transportation and comfort with daily driving throughout your territory
Preferred:
- Experience calling on medical offices, urgent care centers, or healthcare facilities
- Existing relationships within the local healthcare community
- Familiarity with auto accident injury care, orthopedics, or personal injury
- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience
- Performance bonus structure tied to territory engagement metrics
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k)
