Proclinical is seeking a Lab Research Specialist to support preclinical research on HPV-related head and neck cancer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Our client runs a Translational Head & Neck Cancer Program and they're seeking someone to file this role which focuses on cell culture and mouse model experiments, helping test and develop new therapies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong mammalian cell culture experience (essential)
- Hands-on mouse work/in vivo experience (highly preferred)
- Bachelor's or Master's in Life Sciences or related field
- Comfortable working full-time on-site (Mon-Fri)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative
- Experience with general lab assays (e.g., PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry)
- Prior oncology or translational research background
The Lab Research Specialist's responsibilities will be:
- Perform mammalian cell culture to support research objectives.
- Conduct mouse model experiments, including in vivo studies.
- Execute general laboratory assays such as PCR, Western blot, and flow cytometry.
- Collaborate with team members to advance translational oncology research.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of experimental procedures and results.
