Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of the facility, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all customers. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays

Hours: 8:00am - 9:30am

Position #1: General Cleaner (no floor scrubber machine)

Position #2: General Cleaner (includes operation floor scrubber machine)

Duties

• Perform routine general cleaning tasks (position 2 includes floor scrubber machine)
• Conduct floor care activities such as scrubbing using machine as needed.
• Empty trash.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are taken care of, used safely, and stored properly.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus but not required.
• Experience in floor scrubbing using a machine is desirable but not required for position 2
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
