Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business development and implementing go-to-market strategies within their region. This individual will focus on creating top-of-funnel opportunities (leads) by identifying new business markets, fostering strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company's local market presence. They will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing relationships with key partners and strategic providers. This position will be responsible for thought leadership delivery and promoting the company's services, ensuring brand recognition and growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Implement the go-to-market strategy for the region.
- Analyze and understand market opportunities to drive business growth.
- Identify target markets, potential partnerships, and key relationships to expand the company’s reach.
Business Development:
- Drive business development activities to generate top-of-funnel opportunities (leads).
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets and partnerships.
- Drive initiatives to build a robust pipeline of leads that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Partnership & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic providers and partners.
- Act as the primary liaison with partners to ensure a steady flow of referrals and business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen partnerships and increase brand visibility.
Regional Marketing:
- Support the development of a regional marketing strategy to enhance brand recognition and market presence.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement region-specific campaigns and initiatives.
- Deliver thought leadership by promoting the company’s expertise and helping to position the company as the foremost leader in the industry.
Executive Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with clients in the region.
- Collaborate with client success to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships that contribute to ongoing business opportunities.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of client needs to provide additional value and leverage existing partnerships and relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related role, with at least 8 years of experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.

Salary:
Compensation structure includes a base salary of $90K plus commission with an On-Track Earnings (OTE) target.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
