Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in sales, customer support, and industrial distribution. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, assisting with product inquiries, order processing, and sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Process customer orders accurately, including order entry, pricing, and delivery coordination
- Prepare and follow up on quotes for pumps, parts, and related equipment
- Provide basic product information and assist customers in identifying solutions
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives and internal teams to meet customer needs
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in company systems
- Assist with resolving order discrepancies, shipping issues, and returns
- Support overall sales efforts and contribute to team goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- Basic computer proficiency (experience with ERP/CRM/P21 Epicore systems a plus)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus but not required
