Key Responsibilities
- Produce customer general arrangement drawings and fabrication drawings, including dimensioning, weld specifications, and machining tolerances.
- Check drawings produced by other designers and perform design analysis as requested.
- Interact and communicate with internal and external persons, vendors, and customers regarding drawings, design information, project management, fabrication support, installation support, and general customer support.
- Create supporting documentation for as-built designs and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Requirements
- 5 years of drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and drafting practices, including structural detailing.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet specific deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
