The Custodian is part of the Maintenance Team. This is a full-time non-exempt position and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position is full-time, salary, exempt. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northeast Ohio/the Great Lakes region. You may be eligible for an annual bonus. This is a long-term, high accountability role.

- Perform minor routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs beyond skill scope.

The Custodian is part of the Maintenance Team. This is a full-time non-exempt position and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):
- Clean building floors by means of sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash and recycle regularly.
- Service, clean and supply restrooms and kitchen areas
- Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves and refrigerators
- Clean, polish and dust furniture and fixtures
- Wash accessible interior windows.
- Always use proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Notify manager of the need for repairs
- Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
- Adhere to ISO process flows.
- Attend and participate in all required training and meetings.
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe work area.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ janitorial experience is required.
- Ability to mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Must have sufficient written and oral communication, math and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
