Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead followup and outbound cold calls and emails
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making process and funding
- Maintain existing client relationships and establish new accounts
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements
- Follow up on outstanding proposals
- Close sales and achieve quarterly goals
- Participate in industry conferences and trade shows as required
- 4-year degree required (Engineering or directly related technical field is highly preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years outside sales experience
- Customer focus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Drivers license with good driving record
- Salary commensurate with experience
