Rapid Industries is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
This position will report directly to the Senior Controller. In this role you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, which requires the ability to juggle several organizational tasks at once. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of general ledger, AP/AR assistance, various reconciliations, month-end reporting, job costing, etc. This role will support our accounting team.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include managing all aspects of general ledger, AP/AR assistance, various reconciliations, month-end reporting, job costing, etc. This role will support our accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Senior Controller to prepare/provide year-end CPA requests
- Month end close w/ Journal entries
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist Senior Controller on progress of jobs: actual vs. estimated cost, percentage of completion, hours spent vs. hours estimated
- Obtaining a comprehensive knowledge of 2 ERP systems including helping improve processes
- Credit checks
- 1099s
- Sales and Use Tax Reporting
- Back up for Payroll Processing
- Benefits reconciliations
- Perform various other accounting related tasks and special projects
- Communicate with project managers/engineers on progress of jobs: actual vs. estimated cost, percentage of completion, hours spent vs. hours estimated.
- 3-5 years of Accounting experience in Manufacturing Industry required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports.
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical.
- This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.
