We are seeking a Field Technician specializing in programming and commissioning for a full-time, on-site role in New Iberia, LA. The technician will be responsible for programming control systems, commissioning industrial equipment, troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and conducting system validations. This role requires precise execution of installation and maintenance activities to ensure operational safety and efficiency. The Field Technician will also collaborate closely with clients and internal engineering teams for seamless project delivery.
- Proficiency in Control Systems Programming, Automation Systems, and PLC Programming
- Experience with Equipment Installation, System Commissioning, and On-Site Troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex system issues
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities for interaction with clients
- Capability to adhere to safety standards and protocols in field operations
- Willingness to travel to client locations as required
- High school diploma or GED; technical certifications or an associate degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Prior experience in the oil, gas, or related industrial sectors preferred
