Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory tracking. Other tasks include unpacking deliveries, preparing packages for shipping, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and a strong understanding of shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Verifying Incoming Shipments: Unpack deliveries, verify contents against shipping documents, and document any discrepancies.
- Preparing Outgoing Shipments: Package goods for shipment, print labels, and arrange for transportation.
- Pull Parts for Service Jobs: Pull parts from stock or arriving shipments for service jobs in a timely manner to ensure job schedules are performed as required.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including dates, quantities, and shipping details.
- Communication: Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other departments to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
- Material Handling: May use equipment like hand trucks or forklifts to move and store materials.
- Other Duties: Rearranging parts bin locations, assisting with returns, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
