What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Process Development & Fabrication; PDF Inc.?
Primary Function: Prepare fabricated parts for shipment, per customer guidelines
Tasks Include:
- Working from a Truck Schedule to:
- Create a manifest
- Create pack slip
- Palletize parts (Often requires use of overhead crane)
- Count parts
- Verify accurate numbers, locations, quantities, etc.
- Use 5 or more computer portals to accomplish tasks
- Must have high level competency data entry
- Communicate verbally and in writing with customers
- Operate a sit-down fork truck
- Load trailers
- Move trailers in the lot with a yard dog
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: 1st shift, 4 Am to 2:30 pm - average 40 - 50 hours per week.
PPE: Safety toes required.
Environment: Positive, moderate to fast paced work, safe, break area for 30 minute lunch and 2 ten minute breaks. Donuts on Friday!
